How the hall is run
The hall is managed by a group of twelve Managing Trustees who comprise the Village Hall Committee; the trustees are responsible for the day to day management of the Village Hall. The trusteees are committed to raising the funds to keep our Village Hall in a first class condition, so that it remains a valuable and welcoming community asset, for the residents of Braunston and Brooke.
A number of co-opted members also help with ideas and practical assistance, without the formal responsibilties of the trustees.
The committee meets six times a year, usually in the village hall, but also by Zoom if necessary. The Annual General Meeting (AGM), which includes the formal report from the Chair, takes place in March and is open to the public.
Minutes and reports from the AGM can be seen on the Public documents page of the website.
